BSOD — Blue Screen of Death

Immersive installation exploring the digitalisation of our psyches in the chillout space for Scaler's gig at Strange Brew.

With humanity spending increasing amounts of time on digital spaces, where the pictures and reels are your reality, attention the currency; for the subconscious we've manifested a reality that's just as real and a digital self governed by algorithmic gods.

This installation explores the implications of technology on the psyche from a Jungian perspective with inspiration from Simulation and Simulacra, The Matrix, and TechGnosis. The visual style was directed to compliment Scaler's techno grunge sound and Jason's cyberpunk visual aesthetic.
Through the process of creating this, I laid out the basis for "Technomagick" - which I'll be detailing soon in my blog.
